magazines
What i observed from my magazine was that it was mainly about hip hop, trends, and fashion. It talks about album releases, updates on rappers, up and coming rappers, hip hop in pop culture, hottest trends most seen, and a million advertisements about shoes and clothes. The culture this magazine tries to show is a modern, music loving, hanging out culture. i used my seeing to make connections and i used my touch to buy the magazine to see it and my hearing to hear the music they talked about to further connect with the magazine. My magazine was definitly different than the ones my classmates brought in mostly because of genre, topics covered, and culture.

ReplyDeleteLast week i learned that video games are considered to be a type of media in my intro to journalism class. So there is somewhat of a similarity between a music and video game magazine, both being different types of media.
