1. When i examined the room the first thing that i saw was the bike in the middle of the room because who keeps a bike in their room in like the middle that's dangerous. I don't know if those are individual cards on the wall or wall paper but that caught my eye because it's awesome looking and pippen on the wall as well as the reflective floor and puerto rican emblem on the bed head. I notice the bike has some age to it because the paints peeling off and if i had to guess he's probably a cyclist because of the shape and style of the bike. As for the Scottie pippen poster i noticed this kid is probably living in the 90's because of the players he has up and the shoes he has and the movies he watches. The puerto rican emblem and American basketball players and family pictures are all cultural references. based on the details i can infer the kid is puerto rican but lives in the united states and loves to play basketball and rides his bike to the park every day. I just feel like he lives in New York because of his love of basketball and the type of shoes he wears. he definitely loves sports in general because of all the trophies he has and the baseball cards on his wall. He loves his family back home and still misses them based on all the pictures he has hanged around his room. Osorio's style is very detailed and precise i feel like he wants the viewer to look deep into the picture to find out what he's really trying to say and all the noticeable details are just diversions.

2. He's been pretty good at capturing a teenage boy's room all the details are there. For example every guy I've ever known has some type of poster of their favorite athlete lying around or a random basketball you're ready to trip over. Another example ? the movie posters and family pictures. Something that struck me as fantasy is the golden fists attached to the bed i feel like it would've been cool in his eyes. Another thing is the reflective floor because that just doesn't happen. The differences between fantasy and fiction when it comes to a guys room are if it looks expensive it's probably fantasy or if it's over the top it's probably fantasy or if you have a million little golden fists it's probably fantasy.
